Ms Annie Believes!

To wish upon a star and believe is what this Annie is all about. She is 16 inches tall and made of dyed muslin. Her dress is homespun cotton fabric in olive with thin gold/orange stripes. Her pinafore apron goes all around her and of course she is wearing pantaloons. Her star is hand-dyed gold wool with Believe embroidered in black floss. I'll have her posted in Etsy soon, but if you'd like to purchase her just email me. Annie is $24.99 plus shipping. (email address is on the sidebar). Thanks for stopping by!

Violet - with a bow and flower in her hair....

Here she is - Violet. My new doll listed with Etsy. She has big brown eyes and curly dark brown hair. And for those color purple lovers - her pantaloons are a solid deep purple trimmed with white lace. Such a prissy little girl she is. Check her out on my Etsy shop!

Here's wishing everyone a nice Sunday afternoon!

Sunflower Wool Wall Hanging

I've added a wool wall hanging in my Etsy shop. It can be used on a wall or draped over a coffee table or end table. It's fun to applique with wool - easy and relaxing. Until next time!

Here she is - the Red Hat Lady doll. She is soon headed off to Canada to be with her new owner. Since I had mentioned that I needed to get her done by the weekend I thought I'd share her picture with you all.

Well the weekend is just about over and it's back to work tomorrow, plus a dental appt (yuk!) Until next time - happy sewing!

Happy Saturday!

Hi All!

Well, I finally finished all the dolls for my daughter's school and I'm now set up on Etsy. For the moment I only have two dolls showing. I'm still working on a Red Hat Doll for this real nice lady who lives in Canada. Gotta finish that one by this weekend!

For those of you who sell their crafts on Etsy - whew! What a job to get it going! It took me almost 4 hours last night just to put together a banner and then almost all morning long to list the two dolls.

I'm not real happy with the banner, so I'll have to revamp that soon. One of the dolls I have listed, Molly, has already been posted here on my blog, but I wanted to show you my other doll that's listed - my little angel. Her name is Angelic and she has these big blue eyes. I definitely think she looks like an angel.

Hope everyone has a great weekend - until then happy sewing and remember - All is Bright!

Poka dots, Poka dots, Poka dots!

Poka dots seems to be the fashion these days for little girls. Many of my special orders have been for poka dots - browns, pinks and greens! Here are the dolls that are going to two sisters. They wanted the poka dots with pink and brown. One with curly hair and the other with straight hair. When I saw the picture, I noticed that one looks like it can be the older sister, definitely not twins!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. My husband and I went antiquing yesterday at some small towns near by. I was looking and found an old door that I will use as part of my craft display in the fall. I also found an old small suitcase that will work real nice for that display. Antiquing is fun and you never know what treasures one can find! Until next time - happy sewing and creating to all!
