My Give Away - Just in Time for Valentines

With Valentines coming soon and in celebration of reaching 100 followers - it's time for a give away!

This little cutie not only is dressed up for Valentine's Day, but she also holds the "key to your heart."

To win the "key to your heart" doll all you have to do is:

1. Become a follower of my blog (and you don't need to have a blog to enter)
2. Leave me a comment (something like "I want to be entered")
3. Post the give away on your blog and you'll get your name entered twice

The drawing will be on 30 Jan 11. That will give me plenty of time to mail her to you before Valentine's Day.

Thank you for following my blog. Your nice comments always puts a smile in my heart. Here's hoping my doll does the same.

Hugs,

Another New Doll

Carly

What? Another doll you say? My Etsy shop was pitiful. I didn't have any dolls left so I started my New Year busy with three new dolls. I have yet to post my green eyed Callie. She will have to wait until tomorrow.

Meanwhile, introducing my 14 inch Carly and her brand new doll. Santa was good to her! Carly is a Threadbare Primitive pattern and her dollie is a pattern by my friend, Jess, from Little Dirt Lane. Love making that little doll - well I love making all of my dolls, but that little mini is so much fun!

Carly is in my Etsy shop!

Carly has been sold - thank you!

Annual Christmas Cookie Baking

Here we are once again, the women in our family gather every year and make Christmas cookies. This year it was at my home. As you can see above, my granddaughter was all set to get the sugar cookie dough ready to roll out.

What a great helper she is! And such a pro already at only 4 years old! The gathering consists of my sister Carmen and her daughter Denise along with Carmen's daughter-in-law Jenny. Jenny has an adorable 8 month old daughter who made her first appearance as part of the family tradition. My daughter, Andrea and Cadie and my sister-in-law Bel. My mom is an important part of this baking tradition, but this year because of health reasons, she had to miss out.

That's my sister Carmen and Bel. Normally we start around 9 am and are done about 4 in the afternoon. It takes us all day, but it gets us plenty of cookies for the huge family gathering we have on Christmas day.

After all the baking and cleaning up the kitchen it was time to sit with my hubby by the fireplace and just relax. Nice!

Here's wishing all of my blogger friends and all that come by and visit me a very Blessed Christmas holiday. May you all have a wonderful time with your families.

Warm hugs to all!
