Be Happy!

Just a working this weekend!  Thankfully was able to finish another doll.

Before meeting Samantha, the first picture shows the thought process on what she will look like.  I must say playing with fabric is so much fun.  As you can see I used three coordinating fabrics.  Then I pick out the hair color that best suits the outfit.

And here she is, Miss Samantha.  She comes with a "be happy" purse hand stitched in wool

Hope you like her.  I must say, this will be one hard one to let go.  Just seeing her smiling face will remind you to be happy!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!  Bringing you all many blessing too!

Little Gabi.  She even comes with a name tag just in case she gets lost!

Gabi is now in my Etsy shop.

Have a great evening.

Pinterest Made Me Do It....

and I couldn't resist!  This little love note was a free pattern by Wagons West Designs.
All done in wool with the measurements of  5 1/2" x 6".  It was a snap to make and only took me about an hour on a Sunday afternoon while hubby watched football.

I love Pinterest.  I've pinned some amazing food recipes, patterns, inspirational sayings, decorations - you name it.  If you haven't joined Pinterest I recommend you do.

Still working on my wool flowers that I posted last time and getting ready for a new doll this week.

Have a wonderful day!

Playing with wool again...

Did these two blocks today while sitting with Mom while Dad was away at a doctor's appointment.

This is from a pattern by Threads that Bind.

It's a pattern for a table runner - with nine different flower patterns.  It's quite beautiful.  The completed displayed was featured at the Houston International Quilt show.

I'm not sure if I'll do the whole runner or if I'll just do a few flowers.  Whatever I decide I'll be sure and post the completed project.

Love working with wool.  Just soooo easy!

Stay warm!

New Year, New Dolls

Happy New Year!  Hope everyone's holidays were super.  Now that the holidays are over it's back to work.

I just listed these two dolls in my Etsy and before I could get on my blog I received notification that one had sold and will be traveling all the way to Australia.  Thank you so much!
Millie is the one with the kitten and she is still up for adoption.  Little Jenny with all the hugs and kisses on her heart will do the traveling.

Starting this year I have decided not to take any more custom orders.  For me creating the dolls at a whim is so much more fun than being stressed on getting the doll just the way a person wants it.  I want to thank all my customers for loving my dolls and I will continue to make them as time permits.

with warm hugs,
