Merry Christmas

This is the only Christmas doll I was able to make before it gets to late for mailing.

I had just finished listing her on Etsy when she sold within the hour.  Her name is Elizabeth.  She is so special with her Christmas toile printed fabric.  I even added an angel ornament for hanging on your tree.

Wow - another year flown by.  I hope to have some new dolls very soon in my Etsy shop.  Thank you all for being such wonderful customers and especially for your sweet comments.

Have a very, very Merry Christmas and may your New Year be "All is Bright."

The Holiday Season is Upon Us

The Holiday Craft show is now over.  These are some of the items that were in the show.

Packing pillows in tubs.

There were dolls and  hand stitched ornaments.

Lots of wool ornaments.

I had some hand stitched wool stockings for gift cards.

A few pictures of the set up.

I share a booth with my sister-in-law Belinda.  We had it stuffed and had a few items still in tubs under the table for restocking through the week.  We are so blessed to sell out each year.

So after months of getting ready for the show I finally had a couple of days for "me time".  I had wanted to try punch needle for a while now, but just couldn't find the time.  I bought this pattern and was so excited to work on it.  I think it came out pretty nice for being my first time.  Love this Santa.  I have a snowman to do, but I guess I should start working on a Christmas doll first.

Meantime, here's wishing everyone a very happy Thanksgiving.  A day to reflect and give thanks for all our blessings.

Warm hugs,

Not only pretty in pink...

but also in black and white.

.

Sneaked in a doll in between Christmas crafting.  Couldn't help myself.  I saw visions of pink hair and black and white polka dots in my sleep.  Then Kylie was created!

Kylie is now available in my Etsy shop.

Snow people.....

I'll be adding some snow people to my show this year.  You can barely see the dress on the snow girl, but it's cute.  It has snowmen all over it.  Couldn't resist the boots with the fur.  These are pretty good size dolls measuring at about 16 inches.

A little hand stitching for the ornaments will continue to be in my inventory.

I'll make this short cause the "Boys" are on.  Game time.

Have a wonderful Sunday and blessings to all.

A new doll...

and her name is Madison

Looks like she stepped into a flower garden and picked a flower to match her dress.

Madison is now available in my Etsy shop.

Have a wonderful week!  Many blessings to you.

Little Ms Punkin

Took a little break from the Christmas crafting and was feeling the color orange, green, gold - you know something fall-like.

I had forgotten that I had a Sweet Meadows Farms pattern that has two dolls; a snowman and a pumpkin doll.  I'll have to make the snowman for the show - he is just too cute!

That's how Ms. Punkin was created!  She is not for sale.  This little girl was made special for my granddaughter, Cadie.   She'll be able to have her on display starting now until Thanksgiving.  For the holidays Cadie likes to have her very own vignettes displaying her collections.  Which I guess she will set her out with Mr. Frankenstein for Halloween and then on with the Thanksgiving things she has.

Have a wonderful week!

blessings,

That time of the year...

Yes, friends, that time of the year when us crafters start their fall/winter crafts for the shows.

This cute snowman is a new pattern by Libertycreek.  A very easy pattern.  I'll make a few of him.

This pillow is stitched with a sweet message.  An oldie but a goodie.

I like mixing fabrics with wool and then add a stitched Merry Christmas.  A little of everything here.

I hope you all had a nice and safe Labor Day weekend.

I'm itching to sew some dolls - maybe some Christmas dolls?  We'll see.

Take care and until next time.....

Witchy Woman

Awww - but this doll does not look like a witchy woman.  Had that tune in the head - Witchy Woman by the Eagles.

And she certainly does not have the "moon in her eyes".

Just added little Ms. Witch to my Etsy shop.  I really have to stop playing with dolls and start sewing Santas, snowmen and gingerbread men.  The Fall Craft show will be upon us before too long.

Have a wonderful week my blogger friends - until next time - blessings to all!

Just an Old Fashion Love Song...

Oops - I meant just an old fashion raggedy doll.

Do you all remember that song An Old Fashion Love Song - by 3 Dog Night?

One of my favorite songs by a favorite group.  I know - showing my age.  Who remembers songs by 3 Dog Night?

Oh well, back to dolls.  I felt like sewing an old fashion raggedy Annie.  Found this cute pattern and just couldn't resist.

The is the largest doll I've ever sewn.  She is 17 inches tall and will come with her toys.  All though I so love her that I'm tempted to keep her!

The pattern is TDPAINTING by Teresa Deboer and is titled "Old Toys Annie".

Have a wonderful week - think I'll go and put on some 3 Dog Night music!

sweet blessings,

Just a Dreaming...

This is Jasmin.  Doesn't she have that look like she is "just a dreaming".

Hi everyone.  I've just added Jasmin and THREE other, yes, you read right - three other dolls in my Etsy shop.  I have been pretty busy here lately.  Not sure what bug bite me!

Unfortunately, little Jasmin is no longer listed.  She is gone.  As I was getting ready to open up this new post I received the notification that she had been sold.  But check out the other three little girls.

Feeling so fortunate and blessed that there are those that like my little girls.

Thank you all and have a great week!

Twins and Fall crafting

This is the finished results of the twin dolls.  Each comes with their own dolly.

 A before and after pose.

I've started working on projects for the Fall craft show.  The only big problem I have is that I start one and before I finish it I start something else! Am I the only that does this?   The Snowman and Santa are so sweet.  They each have gifts for one another.  I still need the bows on the packages and I've white penciled in the snowflakes that need to be stitched.  Pattern by Bonnie Sullivan
 Tis the Season

This pattern is  Wool Crazy by Buttermilk Basin.  Not quite finished as you can see.  Still needs a thin border and backing.  I think this will be a nice top for a table or a wall hanging.

Frosty still needs a bow on his package and some holly branches and berries on his hat.

Santa also needs a bow on the his package and a bell on his cap.

Have a wonderful week.  Meanwhile, I'll try and complete these projects!

Sweet hugs,

Lulu, Tutti Fruitti and Ladybug

Title doesn't make much sense does it.

Well what it means is - new doll named Lulu, wearing Tutti Fruitti (like in the Oscars - what you're wearing?) and a ladybug pillow.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's day weekend.

Many blessings to you.

sweet hugs,
