Yes folks, I've put down doll making for a few days to get started on my holiday show which comes in about 4 months! Can you believe how summer is just flying by. I've already seen school supplies on the shelves and of course the craft stores have all of the fall items out.
I had fun making this Santa which is suppose to be an ornament, so the pattern says. He stands 11". Pattern is by Sandy from The Olde Country Cupboard. I managed to get three done and will probably make at least two or three more. For my shows I generally only make about four or five of the same. Cute pattern and easy to make.
This pillow was also easy and Christmas pillows sell well at this show. Oh, I also deigned a new pattern for a cute Christmas pillow...it's done, but I still have to write out the pattern. Hopefully I'll have it ready for Etsy as an e-pattern soon.
I love this wall hanging. I've had this pattern for a while and normally make about two of these.
OK - confession time - in the beginning of my post I wrote that I had to put down my dolls to get my holiday crafting started. I did do my crafting, but I couldn't resist getting started on a new doll late this afternoon. Hopefully she will be ready for Etsy mid-week. Hint: She is black and white and will come with a small pillow with a message. Coming soon so check back. Until then have a wonderful week and remember...All is Bright!
Hugs,
Awesome! You are doing much better than I. I have been trying to catch up on projects and have started on some Christmas stuff. Hope I get on it like you soon. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
God bless and keep you,
Sonia
Hi Pat! I actually thought about Christmas today and got "somewhat" excited! Good for you for getting started. As fast as time flys, you might just be ready when the season takes the rest of us by surprise. Can't wait to see the new doll. P.S. I love my little Jilly. Hugs, Vicki
ReplyDeleteI've been working on Christmas crafts along with Fall. I recently decided to ditch the fall and concentrate on Christmas.
ReplyDeleteYour Santa and other things turned out perfect as usual!
Hugs,
Pat
